This shop has the absolute the worst customer service I've ever experienced with high end boutiques.

Usually, a shop that sells top designers at this price point will bend over backward to make the experience pleasant, seamless, customer facing.

McMullen has made what should have been a simple, straightfoward transaction an absolute nightmare. I've been battling them for months now to get a refund on returned items, that were, by the way, returned promptly. Their communication sucks. Their policies are overly strict, and even if you adhere to them, you still end up fighting for every inch. Instead of being treated like a valuable customer, I've been treated like I'm in some kind of divorce settlement - from the first communication to the last.

I wish I had never heard of McMullen. I'm here writing this review to warn away any potential customers. BEWARE. This place is a trap. It's a grift.

If you want to throw away good money and time, sure, go ahead and purchase something from them. But the design and quality can be found elsewhere, at a better store, one with actual customer service and policies that treat customers with respect.

If you don't value your time or money, give this place a shot and see how it goes. If it was anything like my experiene, you'll regret every moment of it and wish you had never clicked on their website or stepped foot in the store.

I ordered a dress and I am always careful to read sizing guides about the designer - I have never ordered from this company and I received the dress and the sizing was WAY off to the point it's impossible for me to wear it. I called and messaged about returning or exchanging due to the huge sizing discrepancy- I got messages that the manager wouldn't approve it even a store credit! They said this is their policy! Terrible customer service- if I had known the sizing issues I would have never ordered the dress. Now I stuck with an expensive worthless dress! Never shopping with this company again.

Why would I want to come back at 10am when I'm here now!! The lady was so rude!!! Not to mention made me feel l Ike my money didn't belong there. Told me she had a client coming and I can leave mind you they didn't close for another 20 mins! I seen a bag online and was hoping they had it in store to where tonight!! Never have I been treated like this especially at a Black owned business!! Horrible for the culture and anyone else!!! Wish I could give No stars

Wanted to love McMullen but am disappointed in their customer service. Someone there kindly offered to ship a dress to the store for me to try on before an event but they seem to have waited, so it sold out in the meanwhile. I'm now back to searching for an outfit for my event next weekend. I wish it was communicated that I may loose the chance to buy the dress if I elect to have it shipped to the store.

Located steps away from Grand on the northwestern side of Broadway, this is a unique, distinct designer clothing for women in a welcoming space. Designers such as Jacques, Proenza Schuler, Ganni, Christopher John.Toberts, Esber can be found here. The staff are inviting, curious and responsive to clients, and it's.possible to build some long term relationships with someone looking out for a shopper's taste .

As a man, I appreciate being able to come here and get the feedback I need to find the perfect presents.

Multiple experiences with poor customer service. Most recently, McMullen was unresponsive to resolving their own shipping error of a $700 item purchased for special event. Not only am I out the $, but also did not have the item for the event.
While they have nice clothes, I will no longer spend my money or time there, only to receive disrespect. Then, two weeks ago, a close friend bought a pair of jeans online (and had paid)...in the 10 minutes it took for her to drive to the store and pick them up, they'd rudely sold them to someone else. She'll no longer be shopping there either.
There are MANY other in-store and online options with far better service and range of style.

Avoid at all costs- it will cost you! Had the misfortune to pre- order a dress that arrived while I was on vacation, didn't fit, and then was stuck with because of their inflexible 10 day return policy. Customer service would only apologize for the "inconvenience" of my $1200 loss. Stick with Moda Operandi or Net-a-Porter.

I bought an item in this store and returned it within 10 days and have yet to been refunded for the item--weeks after it was returned. The staff first claimed "they can't find it" even though I have a delivery tracking number that says it was received by McMullen. And then they said it was refunded and weeks later--nothing! And definitely don't buy an item directly from any designer this store carries, even if they don't have your size--apparently that's not allowed.

Omg how much can I rave about this stylish, chic, amazing boutique?

I can rave a lot actually. Let me start by saying, Sherri and Valorie are the two most nicest and most helpful and most fashionable women to ever work in a boutique. I can say this because I shop a lot.

They stayed way past closing time and they called their seamstress right away for a beautiful gown for a special occasion

You won't regret paying them a visit or paying them at all!!

They're definitely worth it

In addition to all the above, I would like to add that even when I had a slight disagreement with one of the ladies that she maintained composure and gave me amazing customer service to make me feel better.
